Black out the sun...

"Turn all the fruits into bitter wine, it was only sweet when you were mine..."

I love these lyrics. Guess what? They're from Darren Hayes' new song, 'Black Out The Sun'! Wooooo! :D it got its first play on Radio 2 yesterday morning, hosted by the strangely Wogan-like Ken Bruce.

"That's a good song, isn't it?" he said as it came to its dramatic ending. Oh yes it is! I much prefer it to Talk Talk Talk, I have to say - although it's a catchy song, this one seems to have a lot more soul and emotion, which is what our Darren is renowned for...

In other Hayes-related news, I got my ticket for October's London concert through the post yesterday morning. Can. Not. WAAAAAAIT!

Now, onto the more serious stuff. I joined the gym last week! Now Mr Bannatyne is also making money out of me too, along with the other thousands of people tossing their cash into his saggy pockets... But, if he helps me to tone up a bit, I will know that paying him for the use his super-duper machines was worthwhile.

Also, I managed to sell some of my old stuff on eBay this week! In total I made about £114... Not bad for stuff I wanted to get rid of, if I do say so myself! ;)

...Meh. I feel too tired to blabber on for you guys today. Apologies. Maybe if I find the energy some time soon I'll update you all again... Maybe. ;)

Inappropriate?

I am astounded by the new things that I learn every day. Guess what my lesson for today was?

Holding the arm of another person in a photograph is inappropriate.

Eiiish. The funny thing is that this comment was made indirectly to me - get this - in a PHOTO TAG on Facebook. Really, I ask? I couldn't think of a more cowardly method of putting a point across, especially as the "tagger"'s identity is hidden... There's a "report" button on Facebook y'know. Use that if it really disgusts you to an unworldly length. I don't expect everyone to approve of the choices that I make in life, but please - is it really any of your business anyway? Especially when the "offence" is so trivial...

Another thing while I'm docked in Port Rant - if you live in Luton, under no circumstances sign a tenancy contract with a guy named Glen Wright. He's denied me half of my deposit money back because "my door lock was broken". Bullshit! It was in perfect working order the whole time I lived there. I lived there for a WHOLE YEAR. But, as always, it's my word against his, so my chances of getting my extra money back currently stand at ZILCH. Ah well. Who needs money right? ...

*tumbleweed*

Apart from the above, everything is pretty spoko in the world, I guess. I'm currently preparing some of my old junk for sale on eBay, which I hope will be another person's lost treasure! Keep an eye out, stuff under the username "lamoore5" will be shortly hitting your screens.

Do widzenia!
