Maybe I should just pretend that I've been here for the last month and everything is normal? Yes, you like that idea? So do I!
I've had a strange month, full of ups and downs, but now I feel like I've finally come through it all like a trooper. My assignments are well underway and I can see the light bursting towards me in a frenzy! I can't quite believe that my second year at university has almost come to an end... Here's hoping that the summer will take me somewhere interesting!
Speaking of assignments, I HATE it when major corporations take what seems like an age to respond to an email. You see, I'm writing two feature articles for one of my assignments, and we have to get original quotations from the people that we choose to get into contact with. Maybe going straight to the big boys wasn't the best idea but hey - I'm a young and aspiring journalist, if I don't throw myself in at the deep end, who will? ;)
In other news, OH. MY. GOSH.
Darren Hayes is doing ANOTHER New Year's Eve show but this time, it's in Manchester... WHERE MY FRIEND GOES TO UNIVERSITY! The tickets go on sale this week and I am SO excited. It may deny me of any monetary funds for a few weeks, but my gosh will it be worth it! He's also been signed by Mercury Records in Australia, part of the world's largest record company, which is great news for him! I hope that he will finally get the recognition he deserves!
I think that's me for today. I promise I won't be away for as long next time!
