I swear that every time I log into Blogger, I begin by apologising for neglecting my blog...

This time, however, I am NOT going to apologise for anything!

Phewee. It's been a tough few months, I have to say. I think that just about anything that you could possibly consider has gone wrong - housing, family illnesses, jobs... But (and believe me, this is a gigantic BUT) everything has come out on the other side perfectly! I left my job at Cineworld last week and I'm now working for Nando's. Also, I've officially finished my second year of uni now! I've got the whole summer ahead of me to work hard, earn some money and have an awesome time with dear friends. All's good on Planet Lauren at this moment in time! :D

I've just remembered that it's Summer Solstice today. Have I ever mentioned that I simply adore the long summer evenings? There's nothing quite like leaving your house at 9pm to see the roaring sunset engulfing everything in its path in a sepia glow. Beautiful! :)

One piece of slightly sad news, however - I've had to separate my little babies as they've started fighting. No, really, I mean proper "I'm going to kill you in cold blood" fighting. Poor Otis was bleeding a few days ago following an attack from Spud! Thankfully he's recovering now, but I just hate seeing them at loggerheads... :(

Never fear, this blog WILL be left on an exciting note... Darren Hayes has a new song out on Friday! Wahoooo! :D I can't wait to hear what the lyrical genius has devised this time! I'll be popping in with a verdict. Await it with baited breath! ;)
